<font size=\"2\"><strong style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">INTRODUCTION</strong></font><p style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><font size=\"2\">Azad&nbsp; Kashmir Logging and Saw Mills Corporation (AKLASC) has engaged NESPAK for&nbsp; Consultancy services for Detail Resident Construction Supervision of their&nbsp; Commercial plaza at G-10Markaz Islamabad.</font></p><font size=\"2\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;</span><strong style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">MAIN&nbsp; ACTIVITIES RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT</strong><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">&nbsp; </span></font><p style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><font size=\"2\">NESPAK&nbsp; Construction supervision team is entrusted with the task to supervise the&nbsp; facility under Construction ensuring to obtain quality output from all sorts of&nbsp; Contractors. At the same time the team is responsible for day to day Contract&nbsp; Management and remains in close coordination with the Employer field team.&nbsp; NESPAK will also ensure that facilities will be completed within minimum&nbsp; possible time with no compromise on quality.</font></p><font size=\"2\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">&nbsp; Following&nbsp; services in connection with construction supervision of AKLASC Commercial&nbsp; Building in G-10 Markaz Islamabad have to be followed/ ensured:</span></font><ul style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To supervise construction of works&nbsp; in accordance with the Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">Responsible for detailed site&nbsp; supervision to ensure that the construction work proceeds and is completed in&nbsp; accordance with the approved construction drawings and documents.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To check the suitability of the work&nbsp; schedule submitted by the contractor and to monitor the progress of&nbsp; construction.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To prepare daily and weekly progress&nbsp; reports using it as a monitoring tool. </font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To provide assistance in preparation&nbsp; of monthly progress report this includes contractor\'s mobilization status,&nbsp; construction material at site. Progress report will also include weather of the&nbsp; month, interim payment certificate processes and status of the materials&nbsp; provided by the Contractor.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To verify the interim&nbsp; payment certificates of the contractor as per approved work done and forward to&nbsp; the Client for necessary action. </font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To prepare the variation order if&nbsp; any and to verify the same for payment.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To conduct meeting with the Client&nbsp; and the Contractor.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">Providing clarification to the&nbsp; Contractor at site for efficient and smooth construction.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To review and prepare Extension of&nbsp; Time.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To give recommendations for possible&nbsp; termination of Contract\'s after giving sufficient notices to the Contractor.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">To suggest for Taking Over of&nbsp; substantially completed facilities.</font></li><font size=\"2\">&nbsp; </font><li><font size=\"2\">Maintaining of filling system and&nbsp; tracking of IPCs being submitted.
