Deputy Chairman ERRA visited various ongoing projects at Abbottabad and Balakot

On 13th and 14th of July 2011, Deputy Chairman ERRA Lieutenant General Sardar Mehmood Ali Khan, visited various ongoing projects at Abbottabad and Balakot. He visited Peshawar High Court Abbottabad Bench Building&nbsp; and Central Jail at Abbottabad.<br><br>Javed Fida, Engineer’s Representative DM&amp;R Abbottabad briefed the guests&nbsp; about the ongoing construction activities on site. Speaking to media on the occasion he said, “ERRA’s foremost priority is the timely completion of on going projects”. He added that all resources will be utilized to remove impediments in the way of reconstruction. He was given a detailed briefing by Director General PERRA Kafayat Ullah Khan at PERRA Headquarters regarding ongoing reconstruction and rehabilitation projects in KP. <br><br>Deputy Chairman also visited New Balakot City Development Project, Bakriyal. He was received at site by VP, DM&amp;RD. This project is funded exclusively by the Government of Pakistan and spread over 11,000 Kanals. Maj (retd) Zia ul Islam, Engineer Representative NBCDP gave a<br>presentation to the visiting team. Deputy Chairman directed to improve accessibility by working on adjoining roads. The project is now well underway despite land acquisition issues
