The aim  of this project is to establish and ensure coordination among different  stakeholders, working for the welfare of IDPs in flood affected area of Khyber  Pakhtunkhwa. In this regard need assessment surveys in Southern six district of  the province is required. The collected data would be utilized as internal and  external resource in response to the immediate need of affected population. The  data would be used by different WASH stakeholder to address water and  sanitation issues. NESPAK would collect the information and conduct  comprehensive need assessment surveys as per given TORs.

Water, sanitation and  Hygiene (WASH) forum has been established to ensure co-ordination amongst the  public sector service providers, international humanitarian organization and  NGOs to respond to the IDPs and flood 2010 affected areas of KPK. As part of  the joint response WASH cluster solicit services of professional firm/NGOs for  comprehensive WASH need assessment survey in southern districts affected by  IDPs and flood 2010. IDPs and flood affectees data need to be compiled on  District, community, village and house hold level. These data/information  collected through this exercise will be utilized in mobilizing internal and  external resources in responses to the immediate needs of affected population.  The data will be used by different WASH stakeholders to address water and  sanitation issues.
