Introduction
NESPAK has been awarded Consultancy Services for Developing Comprehensive City Boundary for the City of Rawalpindi.
NESPAK has started work on the job on the basis of Agreement signed with the Client on 1st October 2009.
Scope Of Services
The scope of work includes:-- Preparation of map/image showing historical development trends I physical expansion of the city.
- Demarcation of boundary of the City within entire District area on the basis of existing urbanized, semi urbanized, urbanizing and potentially urbanizing areas adjoining the defunct metropolitan/municipal corporation limits. The proposed City will include Cantonment Boards, DHAs and other municipal bodies.
- Development of the City boundary in consultation with the stakeholders i.e CDGs, DAs, TMAs, Cantonment Boards, DHAs, and other municipal bodies / housing societies, local public representatives, NGOs, local academia, community representatives etc.)
- Examining the potential growth trend & pace for each city and demarcate the potentially expanding zones of each city for next twenty years
- Making a presentation to all stakeholders from the respective CDG's to make them aware and feed back from their side and shall submit report of the same.
