Construction Supervision of commercial plaza at G-10 Markaz - AKLASC

INTRODUCTION

Azad  Kashmir Logging and Saw Mills Corporation (AKLASC) has engaged NESPAK for  Consultancy services for Detail Resident Construction Supervision of their  Commercial plaza at G-10Markaz Islamabad.

   MAIN  ACTIVITIES RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT 

NESPAK  Construction supervision team is entrusted with the task to supervise the  facility under Construction ensuring to obtain quality output from all sorts of  Contractors. At the same time the team is responsible for day to day Contract  Management and remains in close coordination with the Employer field team.  NESPAK will also ensure that facilities will be completed within minimum  possible time with no compromise on quality.

  Following  services in connection with construction supervision of AKLASC Commercial  Building in G-10 Markaz Islamabad have to be followed/ ensured:
     
  • To supervise construction of works  in accordance with the Construction Drawings and Technical Specifications.
  •  
  • Responsible for detailed site  supervision to ensure that the construction work proceeds and is completed in  accordance with the approved construction drawings and documents.
  •  
  • To check the suitability of the work  schedule submitted by the contractor and to monitor the progress of  construction.
  •  
  • To prepare daily and weekly progress  reports using it as a monitoring tool.
  •  
  • To provide assistance in preparation  of monthly progress report this includes contractor's mobilization status,  construction material at site. Progress report will also include weather of the  month, interim payment certificate processes and status of the materials  provided by the Contractor.

  • To verify the interim  payment certificates of the contractor as per approved work done and forward to  the Client for necessary action.
  •  
  • To prepare the variation order if  any and to verify the same for payment.
  •  
  • To conduct meeting with the Client  and the Contractor.
  •  
  • Providing clarification to the  Contractor at site for efficient and smooth construction.
  •  
  • To review and prepare Extension of  Time.
  •  
  • To give recommendations for possible  termination of Contract's after giving sufficient notices to the Contractor.
  •  
  • To suggest for Taking Over of  substantially completed facilities.
  •  
  • Maintaining of filling system and  tracking of IPCs being submitted.
